Welcome to the Rawson Hall, Bolney

Bolney is a beautiful village with far reaching views to the South Downs. It has excellent road links to the A23 and the A272 and is served by a regular bus service.

The village hall built in 1881 was donated to the Village in 1924 by the Rawson family who lived at Gravenhurst, Bolney now known as Farney Close. ‘The Rawson Hall’ has been registered as a charity governed by elected Trustees. In recent years it became apparent that the old hall no longer adequately served the village and in 2014 the original premises was sold and construction of a new hall commenced.

The New Hall is a registered Charity. The Charity Commission No. is 1173352

Our new Rawson Hall is a stunning new building nestled in the heart of our village. It offers flexible facilities for a variety of clubs, sporting events, social events, fundraising functions, business meetings, etc. In addition, the community café operates from the premises on 3 days a week.

Examples of the various uses of the halls include: Parties, weddings, amateur dramatic productions, small musical concerts, dinner dances, exhibitions, special interest clubs, exercise/sports clubs, etc.

The building is fully accessible, has ample on-site parking and has been constructed to adhere to all current regulations.
